Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone and happy 33rd birthday to my wonderful husband, Jesse! Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are recovering well from all the hustle and bustle. We had a nice quiet Christmas here in Portland and Jesse definitely spoiled me a bit. We only set a $30 limit for each other, but he went WAY over on me. I think he was taken over by Christmas spirit! Normally, his gifts are very modest, but I guess he wanted to go all out this year. Everything he got me is practical though, so he shopped wisely (i.e. a 90-minute sports massage with a therapist/athletic trainer that I like, two gift cards for my favorite salon, etc.).
Moving forward, I am going to be taking part in an Instagram challenge with some fellow bloggers. The challenge is centered around goals, resolutions, inspiration, reflection, fun and more. It’s a way to kick off the New Year, meet other bloggers and just have fun. So, any and all of you who have an Instagram account are invited. If you don’t have one, you can always start one if you’re interested in joining. Be sure to follow me too @fairbanksa.
Okay, below are the details, as laid out by my blogger friend, Aubrey of Homegrown & Healthy. Be sure to read all the way through and report back if you have questions. Also, at the very bottom of this post, you’ll find the ‘Click here’ link to link up your Instagram account for the challenge!
Starting tomorrow, January 1 2014, we’ll be hosting a mini Instagram challenge. This is such a fun way to meet new people on Instagram, challenge yourself to stay focused on your goals and have fun in the process. Every day you’ll post a picture on Instagram using the themes below. Just make sure that you tag #myclean2014 and @grownandhealthy so we can all see what you post.
How to Participate
- Follow @grownandhealthy on Instagram
- Take a daily picture using the themes below, tagging #myclean2014 and @grownandhealthy in each, so we can find your posts easily!
- Check out the other posts under the #myclean2014 thread to see what other great bloggers (and you great readers) are posting as well.
Want to find out what other great people are participating in the challenge? Link up your Instagram account below, so we can follow each other more easily! Everyone is welcome to participate, the more the merrier.
Important: The Instagram URL does not let you choose a profile pic from your feed, so be sure you have a picture you can upload! If you get a “Error: The requested URL returned error: 500″ that just means it can’t find a picture to use, it does NOT mean that your link is bad. Click on “Direct Image URL” if you have one or “Upload from Computer”.
